My name is Cathy Fitzgerald, I am the owner of Advanced Pet
Care Services offering in your home dog walking and pet sitting.
I have spent my entire life caring for animals and I love it, it
is truly my passion. When I was young, my family moved from the
city to a small farm in White Lake Michigan. I
was a typical “pet crazy” kid and right away bought my first
pony… for $35! Soon after, I joined 4-H and began showing my
pony, as well as raising dairy goats and Mini Lop rabbits. As I
grew up, I became a leader in the 4-H group, teaching other kids
how to care for their animals. Of course we always had dogs and
cats…they just kept following me home!
After I graduated from High School, I
started working in a Veterinary Hospital, first in the
kennels, cleaning cages and walking dogs, then as a Veterinary
Assistant, and eventually Veterinary Office Manager. After
accumulating all my knowledge at the vets for over 20 years,
plus my prior experience, I decided professional pet sitting
would be the perfect continuation of my love for pets. So I
started Advanced Pet Care Service, offering dog walking and pet
sitting services. I am insured for your peace of

Today, my passion for pets is as strong as ever, I enjoy raising
and showing
Arabian horses, starting the young prospects slowly and allowing
them to advance to their full potential. This past year I had to
say goodbye to both my senior dogs Ellie Mae and Charlie, but when the time is
right, there will be a new puppy to pester my 2 cats, Santana
and Smokey. I also have several fresh and saltwater fish.
I care deeply for the welfare of all animals and understand the
value of having pets in our lives-they are part of our families.
With over 20 years Veterinary experience my mission is to
provide caring, knowledgeable and trustworthy service to you and
